EQUAL PARTS · FOUR INGREDIENTS · ONE RATIO
A home cocktail experiment, one ratio at a time.
We started with the Paper Plane — a perfectly balanced equal-parts cocktail — and couldn't stop asking what else might work at 1:1:1:1. This is where we chronicle the experiments, share the winners, and keep searching for the next great combination.
FEATURED POURS
our current favorites
The Golden Flight
CELEBRATION
Floral and effervescent, this one drinks like a celebration. Equal parts with a sparkling finish.
Reposado Paper Plane
AGAVE-FORWARD
Discovered on the menu at Ocean Prime, New York City. The reposado's oak and St. Germain's elderflower play beautifully against Aperol's bitterness.
The Wayward Plane
DRY & ANGULAR
Discovered at Georgia's Cocktail Lounge in Redondo Beach. Cynar's vegetal bitterness plays beautifully against the apricot liqueur's stone fruit sweetness.
The Paper Plane
THE ORIGINAL
Where it all started. Created by Sam Ross at Milk & Honey, NYC in 2007 — named after the Tom Waits song. The benchmark against which every riff is measured.
